Been super stressed lately, so decided to make a bunch of tranquility-inducing items! The four new releases are out in mainstore now, along with a new group gifty! 🙂
Palo Santo is a wood indigenous to South America, and has long been used in sacred ceremonies for its energetic and cleansing properties. Yoga studios often will diffuse palo santo oil throughout the class to encourage focus and balance. It’s burned or used in essential oil form for stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional pain as well. If you’ve ever used it, you know how sharp the notes of this wood are when burned, an unmistakable scent that stays with you.
This set includes the lotus flower burner with lit Palo Santo and a small bundle of unused Palo Santo for later. The smoke can be turned on/off by touch. Each piece is 1 LI.
Essential oils can do a lot for our health – from managing stress, anxiety, depression, and illness among other things. There are dozens upon dozens of oils to use and blend for any occasion. This is modeled off my real diffuser that gets quite a bit of use! Although we can’t smell the oils in SL, I hope that this piece will bring a little serenity to your virtual space.
It is 1 LI and has a touch menu to choose from black, white, or wood base. There is a basic specularity texture applied for a bit of a plastic-y look in advanced lighting. Mist can be turned on or off. The lit parts smoothly cycle through the rainbow. Cycling can be stopped in the menu, and the diffuser defaults to a rainbow color. You can modify the lighted portion if you like by adding your own texture, or just a white texture that you can tint to any color you prefer. When you click to turn the cycle back on, it will return to the rainbow cycling so you can’t break it! 🙂
Don’t forget the essential oils! Again, even though you can’t smell in SL, I think having these around is good for the spirit. I can ~almost~ smell the jasmine!
There are five different configurations of bottles: 2 groups of six bottles, a wood display block with six bottles, a quad, and a duo. Each piece has a texture change menu to choose from 4 different groupings of oils. Each is only 1 LI.
I tried to include the most common oils. If there’s any ones you absolutely neeeed to have, let me know and I may do a second set in the future.
Included oils:
Bergamot, cardamom, cassia, cedarwood (atlas), chamomile, clary sage, frankincense, ginger, jasmine, lavender, myrrh, neroli, patchouli, peppermint, rose, sandalwood, tea tree, ylang ylang. There are also “blends” of energize, meditation, sensual, sleepy time, stress, and tranquility.
Himalayan pink salt lamps are great for well being, and are said to cleanse negative ions from the air. I don’t know about that…but I sure do love mine. The lovely glow just sets a calming atmosphere, especially when coupled with diffusion of some nice essential oils!
Included in this pack are three sizes of lamps that have a touch on/off. I did ~not~ include an on/off switch or plug on the actual model so that they can be used in other time periods than just modern (say lit up by candle or magic!). I also included some bonus random salt blocks just for decor. Each piece is just 1 LI and has some materials on the salt and wood for added effect in advanced lighting.
